Default 2016 IS 350 F sport springs with 19” wheels?

Anyone know what size dimention wheel should I use for 19” wheels. I’m looking at Volk wheels and will be getting 19” for them. What is the correct spec for 19” wheels if I am dropped on the F Sport springs? I don’t want to have to add spacers and would want the wheels flushed. Any one with F sport springs have dementions for 19” wheels? The Volk ZE 40 are the ones I have my eyes on. Please help guys.

If you want to go with staggered 19's here are some fitment suggestions (Offset will be dependent on the manufacturer of the rim, but for a flush look you would want front about +32 offset and rear about +38.):

Stock F-Sport Wheel specs
18X8 +40 225/40/18
18X8.5 +50 255/35/18

19 inch upgrade with staggered fitment (to keep the exact same tire circumference as the stock 18 inch wheels - no offset as that is wheel manufacturer specific):
19X8.5 225/35/19
19X9.5 255/30/19

19 inch upgrade with staggered fitment - with plus size on tires:
19X8.5 235/35/19
19X9.5 265/30/19

19 inch upgrade with staggered fitment - with plus plus size on tires:
19X8.5 245/35/19
19X9.5 275/30/19

I have a 2016 IS300 AWD Fsport with stock staggered fitment.

what are the benefits of 19 inch upgrade with staggered fitment - with plus size on tires:
19X8.5 235/35/19
19X9.5 265/30/19

I live in NYC and
is there any affordable wheels that looks like the VOSSEN HF3 in gloss black?
With all season tires

Hey Sasnuke,

Why would someone want to go plus one or two on the tire size? Is there a specific benefit to have thicker tires? Also, what is your opinion on going up to 19" wheels, vs. 18"? I am having a hard time finding the wheels I want in 19". Most manufactures don't make them in 19" or have discontinued them. But everyone makes 18". Why is this? Is 19" too big for performance? Maybe tires are too expensive? Thanks.

@Leo7 Sorry, didn't see your post until now...to answer the question about the HF-3, there are several 10 spoke rims out there that look similar, but not quite the same as the HF-3.
You could try brands like Vertini, GTS, Niche, TSW, Avant Garde, etc. for a similar 10 spoke design.

To answer both questions about the plus sizing...it comes down to ride quality and rim protection really.
The lower the sidewall usually means the stiffer the sidewall. So when the vehicle travels over bumps, instead of the tire absorbing some of the impact, the stiffer sidewall transfers it to the suspension and ultimately the passengers.
With the larger sidewall the tire absorbs at little more of the initial impact therefore transferring less to the passengers, therefore making it a smoother ride that is more comfortable.
Also for the rim, the tire offers protection over potholes. When the tire hits a pothole it will actually compress to the point where the rim could hit the road itself. With a larger sidewall it makes that compression distance longer, therefore hopefully saving the rim from damage.

Have a quick question, currently am on square setup 235/35/19 Eagle F1A5 all round. Would like to change to 235/40/19 for better comfort. Would it rub the fenders (car is on stock suspension) and any recommendations for tires of this size? Anyone running square 235/40/19?

Assuming the rim is 19x8.5, and you're on stock suspension it will likely be fine.
Without knowing the offset though, hard to say for sure.

It should be ok.
Keeping in mind that the stock wheel diameter of a 3IS is 25 inches...the 235/40/19 will be 26.4 inches.
Speedo will be off and you will have another 0.7 inches of ground clearance.
I'd watch out for the big bumps though as the upward travel maximum of the wheel is now greater by 0.7 inches due to the larger tire.
