Cool IS350 front rotors and calipers on IS250

Hi guys, I'm piecing together a budget build so I can autocross my 2008 IS250 6sp , I just wanted to know if you guys know the part numbers for the IS350 front rotors and calipers. I will greatly appreciate it.

Check out any of the OEM Lexus parts online retailers if you want exact PN if you want new. Which is probably a waste of money.

If you have any core calipers to return, Rock Auto has 350 rebuilt calipers for $60-$70 each. Centric rotors are $80-$100 a pop.

I have a DIY 250 to 350 swap from 10 years ago a few threads down.

Always wondered this. If you have a is250 and have the 250 calipers, can you purchase the 350 calipers off places like rock auto, but return the 250 calipers as the core?

I'm sure you can...I doubt they know what core they get back. It probably all goes in a pile and sent to a third party to be rebuilt. This is not different than your local autoparts store. The guys there don't know what is what, it a caliper that comes back dirty and greasy and goes in a pile in the back.

Might be careful with this I returned some parts before. They go to a different warehouse for RMA's. Supposedly they check thoroughly the part coming back before they approve. I'm not sure about core parts though. Might take a chance and see. As I also thought about sending in my 250 calipers before for core replacements.

For RMA parts returns that’s understandable but for cores I doubt it. I’m pretty positive they go in a pile to be refurbished by third party. The pennies on the dollar they get for them probably is cost prohibitive to inspect against a photo or identification marks for thousands of cores that come thru a day b

Similar to computer hard drives that you can shuck out of the external case to use on builds. I’ve warranted a few that I took out for my NAS til they failed and put them in their old external cases to be warrantyd without issue.
