Clunking Noise heard from inside car but not outside
Hello all,
I have searched and can't find what I am looking for. I recently came back from a deployment and when I came back decided to lower my car. It is lowered approximately an inch and a half (Tire tucks, but barely)
Since lowering there is a vibration when I sit at idle at a complete stop and stops if shifted into park or neutral (I did see some answers to this, which I will read up on some more, unless someone wants to chime in on this as well). The bigger concern I have happens when I am speeding up generally 0-30 mph there is a very audible clunking noise which sounds like there is some rotational binding somewhere. I have tried raising the car up and lowering it to see if it goes away. I have had a friend drive it while I stood outside of the car and can't hear it. Yet it is audible inside the car. I have been underneath the car trying to find the issue, but have not had any luck. Any ideas?

The idle vibration is due to the new angle of the CV axles but I can't recall if it's something about rotating on a grooved part or something... and there was a post somewhere about spacing out the axle and that solving the vibration issue but some people have it worse than others depending on how low the car is. CV axles for the IS250 AWD tend to give out when the car is lower than 24.5 inches ground to fender and will typically cause a consistent clunking sound. Check the CV axle boots for leaking
