Default Lowered

Looks good! What is your ride height measured from ground to bottom of fender? How does ride and handled vs. OEM? Any scraping, rubbing or bottoming out?

Thanks..

Thanks Neil64!

25 1/4 inch from ground to bottom of fenders F&R. no rubbing and im running 245/40/18 all around.

i did everything together.. Dayzen bushings on the oem sway bars ( F&R), stabilizer bars F&R and the coilovers. no camber kit yet so im not perfectly aligned yet...

the ride.. its flat and comfortable. Dont know if i might be pushing here but it behaves like a stock 2013-2014 GS350 F sport but lower in height and maybe a bit more flat in corners if u drive it aggressive..

hope that helps and thank you guys for the compliments...

Default Teins

Sduran,

Now that you have had the Teins on there for awhile, still like the ride quality of them? Any bottoming or scraping, etc..?

Thanks....

Neil

Hey Neil64,

Im very happy with the set up. Wouldn't change a thing.... The ride quality is very nice, no bottoming or scraping. One of the things that was important to me was not to have a set up that was bumpy and this is not.

Compare to the OEM. This set up is wayyy better and gives the car some personality.... but remember I did the stabilizer bars, sway bar bushings and wheels n tires ( replacing 16' inch ****ty tires lol and original shocks )

If you are NOT looking for a performance set up, this set up will get you started...

Hope this helps you! and Happy 4th

Default Lowering

Sduran,

Thanks for sharing. Going from 16"s to 18" was probably a dramatic change in ride quality (harsher and better handling). I am looking to lower while retaining as much OEM ride quality as possible and maintaining adequate suspension travel. These Teins might just be the answer. Did you adjust the height of the coilovers and have the car corner balanced?

Neil, without adjustable sway-bar end-links you won't be corner balancing this thing. I will hope to do that soon, but personally i'm going to change out my Tein SA's out for something more adjustable and more performance oriented. OP have you checked your alignment or gotten a camber kit or adjustable toe-links? You will be destroying your tires without those. I was in the same boat as you and wrecked the inside tread on a full set of tires in 5 months or so(I drive a ton though). I would also recommend some of the SPC control arms too, but I don't know your budget.
