Question Rear struts replacement for IS250 2008

Hi guys!
I'm looking to change my rear struts since they were leaking according to my last 105k service report.
Now, I'm looking at the KYB Gas-a-Just Gas Strut from Amazon for replacement. Just wondering if there would be any suggestion or caution about this selection?
Also, any recommendation about which particular parts should be changed during the process would be much appreciated!

Thank you so much!!!
Cheers!

Eric

I'd assumed this is a stock or factory suspension setup you've got here. So yes, that is a viable option; just make sure you select the correct one for you model.

I'm not sure if this is stock or not. All I know is that KYB claims this is a high performance version of their lineup...
I hope it won't affect the ride quality too much...?

Well, once you confirm you have factory suspension on the car, then you can continue.

ANY new shock will seem firmer than the current; so anything will be an upgrade. But the KYB is the direct OE mono-tube replacement shock that they advertise being "firmer". But I'd say that it would be very similar to the factory sport suspension, which isn't harsh by any means.
