Are you installing springs or coil overs? Springs will not need a camber kit. I can not speak on the coils. Both will beed an alignment. Check iut the FAQ thread towards the top.

It's not a must for camber kit. It really depends what u want to get out of the camber kit. Do u want to correct the camber to get more life out of ur tires or do u want more negative camber? People usually get camber kit because they want more negative camber to fit their low offset wheels.

I am wanting to get coils, the guy said that I might need it because they probably wouldn't bee able to do the alignment without it, so would just be to correct it or what? My car is a stock hight right now I'm thinking of dropping it 1.5 to 2 inches.

As others mentioned, If you want better tire life then a camber kit would be a good option.
Dropping 1 inch or less you can probably get away without having one but anything more I would suggest getting one.
I'm lowered an inch on F sport Springs and I have SPC ball joints installed on both front wheels.
