Default Decided to buy BC Racing Coilovers

Last year I went to the dealership and they told be that my rear left shock was leaking and it will need to be replaced. I ignored everything and continued on. Later on I started to hear a "thump" in the back when I would make right turns. So, 3 months ago went to get my brakes done with Son at Dynamic Auto Services and he told me that my rear stocks are leaking as well. He also pointed out that my front one on my drivers side was worn out as well. I was surprised that it only had a piece of the rubber boot still attached. So, I decided to just get coilovers and they should be here on the 25th.

My question is how high is the car in the highest setting? What is the benefit of swift springs? Can you guys share your experiences with these coilovers? Are these reliable coilovers?

Lol it's because I never messed with coils and I'm sure I will be a little lower than stock with the coils, but how much. If I have stuff in my trunk or passengers in the back I sometimes scrape going up my driveway and I'm stock.

I'm on day 2 of the BC Coilovers. They are fantastic. Drastic results.

Good to hear you are enjoying them. Did you go with swift springs?

Negative on the swift springs. Not necessary in my opinion, these coilovers are really versatile in ride height and comfort/performance.

Not sure what you are asking but the coilover can lower your car A LOT.

Your verbiage is a little askew. One would typically say 'Highest setting' in reference to the compression/rebound adjusters at the top of the coilover. I think what you are asking is "With the coilover fully extended, does this raise the stock height?" To be honest, I didnt try that. I'm guessing you wont get much higher than stock but you can go fairly low. I should have been more clear in my earlier post, sorry about that.

THanks for fixing my nomenclature lol
yea that is exactly what I am looking for. As long as I can set it to close to stock height when I need to it is good.

Okay that sounds good since I only wanted to lower it about a inch or less.

Oh yeah, if you want higher than stock ride height, you could accomplish that too is you need with the BCRs. LOL!

I was just about to post this same question haha. I'm about to buy BCR's but I wanna keep it around stock height for my driveway back home.. I think the stiffness will help with it being lower too. Like, the car won't "dip" as much when going up and down ramps so even if it is a little lower the stiffness should help compensate.

Good to hear! What spring stiffness did you choose?
