SPC Rear Camber Arms - Assistance Required!
Hey CL!
I'll be installing my rear SPC camber arms this weekend. I need a little bit of guidance from the guys that installed this already.... Help!
So here is the warning that their installing instructions give you when installing the arm.
My questions:
1. is the 5/8" measurement from thread to thread?
2. Should I set "measurement A" to 1/2" (just under 5/8") and then adjust the rest of the length distance using the nut and "measurement B" and then back track "measurement A" if necessary?

Note: I have not installed these, but here is my opinion, which seams pretty clear from the directions:
1. Both "A" and "B" measures the threaded parts only, respectively. So that means, "A" should be the area between the two nuts and "B" should be the area between the large adjusting nut and the arm.
2. I don't think it matters how you adjust or what order...just that they're equal length and each aren't longer than 5/8" As for how much to adjust, why not just play it safe and have "A" and "B" be 1/4" or something and let the alignment shop do the final adjustments?

just make sure the alignment shop 1) is aware that you have aftermarket adjustable arms...i'm assuming a performance shop will see that, but if you go to a place that only works on stock cars then they might not realize....and 2) knows not to adjust "A" and "B" to more than 5/8" and that they should be equal.
