Default 2008 Lexus IS250 RWD Tein S Tech Springs Installed

So after debating between coilovers or springs I decided to go with Tein S Techs... I actually love the drop. It's not slammed but you can definitely tell the difference. Had a couple buddies help me out. Took a couple breaks here and there and finished within four hours. I'm glad I chose this route. Driving handling a a bit better. Not to bouncy and a bit more stiff in handling. I'm sure it will settle a bit cause I got it done just a few hours ago. Took for test drive dos a couple U turns; no rubbing. Love the drive.

How many inches of a drop was it approximately? I'm looking to do mine soon, anything I should be noting while taking out/apart the shock?

Since I have the RWD the drop was 1.7" in the front and 1" in the back. Now the vehicle has settled in it looks much better. I'll post pics when I get home.

I read about 5 different DIY on installing springs and I chose to go with removing the cotter pin from the upper control arm. One side went in fine. But when I got to the passenger side I had slightly pulled down the brake assembly a little too far and it snapped the abs wire. But I rewired it up and it's fine now. You can prevent it from happening by slightly holding it up while removing the strut; and place the brake assembly back with bolt to the upper control arm when installing the springs. That's pretty much the only flaw that happened.
