Hey everyone, just picked up a ugo front strut bar from a fellow CL member and I would like to know the best way to install this bar. I assume the bar should be leveled flat but I am more curious as to whether or not I need to remove the strut cover. It's a black thin metal piece that covers where the strut tower brace would be after removing the three bolts. Will leaving it on affect the bar at all?

I removed the black piece you are speaking of when I installed my bar

okay thanks, I'm just not sure what's the use for that piece. On some member's vehicles I see that it is on but other's it isn't so maybe it's personal preference?
