What was the rotor-caliper centering like? Would it make sense to use the IS F front hubs to give the additional clearance for the rotor to clear the backing plate, or would that throw the rotor into the wrong spot. I know there was someone who installed the IS F Brembo calipers onto a GS350 with the 2-piece rotors and it all bolted up like factory, with the caveat that I don't know if the rotor offset was completely correct.
Are you able to take a picture of the rotor offset/caliper clearance?

Using IS-F hubs and rotors would be a pain. The GS350 F-sport rotor/caliper centering is perfect and clears the IS-F backing plate. The backing plate touching the wheel ended up not being the issue, it cleared the OEM 06-08 wheel fine which I think @Joe Z confirmed back in the day.
The tapered wheel and drop center area is the problem touching the caliper. My latest video shows this and my spare tire setup.
Using @350phi info and testing, the GS350 F-sport rotors fits the IS-F calipers perfectly on any 06+ spindle. That is the go-to swap now to avoid new hubs, but requires custom drilling rotors to match rear (if you do IS-F rear setup). The aftermarket single piece GS350 F-sport rotors are cheap as hell now (~$42/ea for C-tek budget or $80/ea for Centric Premiums). I wanted the bling and went with $250 OEM 2-piece.
I'm thinking of doing IS-F rear caliper though, they are hard to come by used (all the junk yards want $200+ each or to sell with the four wheel setup), I can't justify $380/each (which is the same price as the front 6-pot????) for new OEM, yet. I found that R1 Concepts sells rear IS-F blank (non drilled) for $100/set with ceramic pads which I want since I don't like drilled or slotted.
Here some photos, not exactly down the line for offset, but you can see there is plenty of clearance from backing plates.

From memory I can tell you.. The IS F Brembo's actually were more narrow, slender & longer, compared to the stock IS350 advics. Which were shorter & wider of the same 2008 era..
Looking at the new stock calipers of today, they look even thicker per se.
To bolt up the caliper correctly on the 250/350 it required the F hub + shield to properly align the rotor with caliper clearance.. With out the shield & hub, the rotor would make contact on the Brembo caliper internal slot.
F has a wider front foot print.
Same reason why my IS350 could not accept a19" IS F front wheel, the caliper would contact on inner blade..
Also same reason why the 18" IS350 wheel would not fit on the IS F.. The caliper top and bottom points would make contact on the inside wheel barrel.
Rear wheels worked, but very tight from memory for the 18" wheel inner barrel.
edit: found the thread from 12 years ago.. Damn!!
IS F 19" Wheel SWAP with 2IS 18" Wheel...& Big Brake Kit test fit as well.. w/pics

So you guys got a better 2 piece OEM front rotor for my IS F ?? I never liked the Lexus cost cutting to make one part # for Front Rotor and one for Rear Rotor on the IS F.. The pillar vents made them none directional, but the drilled holes should have looked better and more specific for L&R.

Too @sinister2c , I'm not a fan of the massive spacer for your emergency OEM wheels.. My solution would be to sell these 18" IS wheels for a nice price since they are CLEAN.. And pick up a set of GS / RC / IS FSport Wheels they clear these OEM GS Brakes.. Best of both worlds

Yea I was thinking hard about selling the 18s and getting some 3IS 18s or 19s but the costs vs. my use of OEM wheels didn't make sense. I've literally only used my wheels OEM 3 times in 13 years (first 10k miles, and twice when I was rebuilding my 20s) so investing in new spare OEMs and trying to sell the 18s wouldn't make too much sense for me.
The 18x4 spares would make perfect drag front wheels. Light weight OEM aluminum that clears big brakes.
