UAS Bracket over BC coils
Hey everyone! I've been on here for about 2 years and this will be my very first thread... More like a question... I have a 03 GS300 with BC coils. I finally have money to bag my car. I was considering Airrex but now I changed my mind and Im going with UAS bags over coils. Richard at UAS told me I have to send in my rear shocks to get it modified. Well my question is, what is needed to modify my rear shocks in order to fit the UAS brackets? I was told it needed to be trimmed down and rewelded (shortened/sectioned off). If so, how much do I need to cut off? My grandpa has an arc welder and hes pretty gnarly on it too. Hes an old guy but he still can get down on the machine! LOL
Before all of you start bashing on me, I already used the search field, i even searched atleast 20 pages of the "suspension threads", I googled, youtubed, and i came up with a build for a 3GS. But Im not too sure if its the same concept... Help a homie out!
