Default question about BC Racing coilovers

i'm thinking about go with a set of coilovers and sell my f-sport springs/shocks, i have BC Racing coils on mind, but the shop that installed my f-sport setup told me BC coils tend to wear out the rear shocks very fast, is this true?

the coils are a complete replacement. So unless you ride super stiff and hit pot holes and debris. They won't wear out that fast.

I currently have a set of BC racing coils, but on custom setup.

I'm sure he meant the shock on the coils or whatever it's called. AFAIK coils do have to be rebuild periodically. Maybe that's what he's talking about?
