Are you sure?

Have you ever heard of corner-weighting?

The coils should be adjusted by weight on each tire so that it is even...not height.

i don't know, i have been to two mechanics who are into car mods and they told me not to have uneven distance on the two sides @_@

Corner-weighting is the correct way of doing this...yes, but...Most places are definitely not set-up of this. Most race shops are though...

ATTENTION TEIN FLEX USERS...I just received a response from tein...

Mike:

Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance Suspension Products.
In regards to your question, you can adjust the length of the shock to
compensate for the height difference but is better to actually corner
balance it. And by adjusting the length of the shock, it would not effect
the stroke of the suspension.

NOOOO...only if you can adjust the shock tube lenght!

The HAs do not have that adjustment.

First you corner weight...you CANNOT have ideal handling without doing this.

Then, if the height is uneven, you can adjust the shock tube length as this will not affect corner weighting. (only certain coils)

I'd bet that no one on this board corner balanced their car

AgGS...I've heard up on a few NSX owners pages and they pretty much do the same thing...Corner Balance Lowering the shock tube, according to what these guys say, does affect the weight at that corner...I think that's how you get the perfect combination...basically...LF+RR=RF+LR (lbs or kg) ...of course, real racer shops take into account the driver and fuel...

Although not ideal, I am going to simply adjust the shock tube length, but will try to find a race shop that can corner weight my car...In order to get the perfect balance, I am sure it would take a few weeks

If you guys are going to take it this far, you might as well have the car aligned and cornerbalanced with you sitting in the car.

As far as measuring your heights, I'm wondering if any of you measured your car's before you did the mod. The chassis may have already been slightly tweeked. Unless this is known, I think the jury is still out on whether the Teins are responsible for introducing this problem.

Also flat surfaces can be deceiving, so you should verify your measurements by taking your car to 3 or 4 different spots and re-measuring. Not that I don't trust your measurements, but you might be surprised at what you may find out if you do this.

After all this, I would measure the thread spacing of all 4 coilovers to make sure the settings are exactly the same, left to right.

Verifying these things will help narrow down what the root cause of the problem is. Right now, we've got too many variables, to make any accurate conclusions.
