If you are using 15mm in the back, the stock studs need to be shortened as they hit bottom out on the back of the open holes on the wheel. 30 seconds on each stud with the grinder fixed that problem!

I am thinking about trying a 17mm for the rear. Do you think it would clear the studs?

Based on how much I grinded off, I would estimate that 17mm would work. Interesting to hear that others have reported rubbing using 20mm spacers. Looking at how close the tires are to the fender using 15mm spacers, it is really close. Also, interestingly, the drivers side has less space than the passenger side on my car.

I went ahead based on recommendations via this thread and installed a 25/20 setup front and rear respectively. I drive an IS250 lowered on RSR Downs. Visually it looked great and flush, however the the constant rubbing when going over bumps or dips bothered me and I don't want to cause damage to the fender liner or fenders.
The shop mechanic mentioned that since I running an all season tire with more tread, that can also cause the rubbing.
Anyone with a 20F and 15R setup with RSR Downs?
Thoughts?

I have this setup and there is no rubbing. As mentioned earlier one side is closer to the fender than the other.
