Default Coilover questions-advice pelease help.

I have done some research on the forums/google and have not found an answer to my question. I am looking to get coil overs for my 98 gs400. I am not going looking for race performance, just daily driving.
I know there are different brands and different prices. I want to get something that will give me the smoothest ride, closest to stock ride. I am only planning to go a bit lower than lowering springs. I don't wanna buy lowering springs and shocks cuze it'll come out just as much as coil overs.
I already have a 300zx that is dropped 4" on 19's (I do not need another stiff suspension)
I see that Megan's coils have a greater dampening set than other brands, so my question to Megan EZ coils owners is: how smooth do these ride (when compared to stock)
If I'm planning to go about 2.5" maybe 3" drop, would I need adjustable control arms?

Thank you fellas.

Megan EZ's are fine for a normal drop. No a camber kit will not be needed.

Stance on my car when I bought it & these things will rattle the fillings in your teeth loose while on the softest setting. Steer clear of these.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Megan EZ's... Those of you with the EZ are the spring rates stiffer than the Teins?
