Lightbulb Rmm front strut bar

does anyone know why according to rmm instructions for installing strut bar the advise to remove existing load plate ( the triangle looking black plate on top of the strut tower)

i installed my bar with it on and then with it off , to me the car felt better using the load plate with the strut bar, the front end just plain felt more planted.

You might try E-mailing your question to Eric at www.rodmillen.com.

The base of the rmm bar is bigger than the stock plates...you are losing rigidity by leaving them in place.
