Default brake power loss + peddle feedback isn't normal

Hey

I don't know why but am very confident that a new IS350 would brake much faster than mine.

I also feel a weird feedback when braking. it feels like there are some particles in between brake fluid . spongy peddle feeling.

So what do you suggest ?
1- Flushing the whole brake fluid.
2- Refilling brake fluid. ( I don't know if it needs a refill though)
3- ?

and by the way my tyres are new and grippy.
thanks

Flush the brake fluid. Sounds like you may have some air in the lines.

How many miles on your 2IS and has the car had a brake fluid change before? Have you had the rear calipers checked to see if they're seized? What brake pads are you running right now?

Firstly I would like to thank you all for replaying

91000 Miles 2007 IS350

I don't know if it had a fluid change because I bought it used at 76000 miles. However the brake fluid reservoir has some spills on it !.

OEM new pads in front and rear.

I don't know what do you mean by seized rear calipers . But the guys in workshop told me you need to get new rear calipers because they are rusty and greasy !

So what do you suggest overall

I would suggest getting the rear calipers repaired or replaced, as that can cause some of what you are experiencing...once that is addressed and all calipers are working 100%, and the issue is still there, then I would get the brake fluid flushed.

Yep, sounds like rusted up sliding pins on those rear calipers causing only half of the caliper to work.

GL!

^But imagine the tools $800 could have purchased! My problem (before having a house and garage) was having a place to do the repairs. Apts don't like you doing a brake job in their lot. LOL!

If they're seized they can be repaired. You should replace the Brake Fluid anyway. It should have been changed at 90,000 mi.
