M2 springs?

I was browsing ebay and came across these M2 lowering springs on sale for $80. That's cheap as hell for springs so I was wondering if anyone has any type of experience with these and if they would be any good? I know most people are going to say just get coils and I would love to but being a recent grad in tons of debt, I can't really afford coils at the moment. What would be the worse case scenario in using springs? Shocks would have to be replaced eventually correct? Any other possible problems that might arise? Thanks

There is already a thread on this...

basically just get some legit springs.

These threads pop up once every 2 - 3 months. :P

Basically - don't buy them, unless you actually want to raise your car by a few inches.

Check out some of the usual springs - H&R, Tein S-tech, Tein H-tech, etc. They have plenty of reviews, and it all really depends on how low you want to go. Unless you have an AWD, then no amount of springs will give you the right depth without shredding your CV boot.
