Lowering springs gone wrong?

I might be missing something here but why wouldnt it be safe to ride on? the spring should be settled in unless he goes over a bump hard enough to move the spring outside of the perch. someone please explain to me this i am curious. I have personally ran springs in a seperate shock and bucket setup in my xb with no perch (got me as low as it can go) i havent had any problems with it ever. if i jacked my car up the spring would just fall out of its place. now that i understand is dangerous but this where the spring can't exactly fall out of place i don't really see much of a problem.
and i do agree though that running it that way will blow the shock quicker.
also heres the difference between the weights of the SC and the Supra according to wikipedia.
1,460 kg (3,219 lb) (non-turbo)
1,550 kg (3,417 lb) (turbo)
vs.
3,485 lb (1,581 kg) (1992 SC 300 manual)[3]
3,505 lb (1,590 kg) (1992 SC 300 automatic)
3,604 lb (1,635 kg) (1992 SC 400)

Sorry guys, forgot to report back. Yes i mixed the front with the rears lol. No more gap. I do have another issue though. Now one of the rears sits alot higher than the other buy half an inch. What could it be? Blown shock? It sits fine in its perch. Cant judge by the ride because i have stretched lo pro tires that make the ride crappy.
