Default sc300 rear suspension

so i bought an sc300 a few weeks ago for $1400. put another 2500 into to fix up the engine and and a new exhaust. the big problem with it not is mostly the whole rear suspension is rusted and in really bad shape and needs be replaced. It still drives just not very smoothly over bumps. The guy i went to want $1500 to replace it and also lower the front by about 1.2 inches and the rear by .9 inches. Is this a good investment?

vague question. what all is he going to replace? it doesn't sound like a bad price as the rear control arms are pricey and your paying for springs and install. If i didn't know how to work on cars i would save a ton in labor and find a buddy with mechanical skills and conquer it. but i work on all my own stuff. Good luck.
