Default Does a 2'' drop require camber kit

How low can you drop your car before you need a camber kit to ensure your tires will last you a good amount? For example, I would like my hankooks v12 to last me at least 20k miles.

I have read through a lot of threads and I haven't gotten a definite answer to my question yet. I have seen members who have drop their car pass the 2'' and don't require camber kits yet, while some who only drop their car 1.5 inches already gotten a camber kit.

I'm currently dropped on KW V3 about 2'' all around and I am going to get an alignment tomorrow. I don't want to show up to get an alignment and be charged full price after the guy tells me there's not much he can do because my camber is way off.

I had my 300 treadwear BFG KDWs last 24k miles with one dismount and re-mount @ 14k miles. I'm lowered almost 2.5" without camber arms currently. Assuming your alignment (toe) is in check, you should be fine.

Just to update, Gville350 is correct. I got an alignment today, and my camber was right near the max acceptable OEM range after toe correction.

^My toe was set to OE spec, but of course the rear and front camber was far from within OE spec. Specifically 2.8 degrees in the rears.
