Another brake noise thread?
Yes, I searched and couldn't find a thread with the same characteristics.
I have what sounds like a metal on metal scrape/grinding sound coming from my front brakes at slow speeds (0-10 mph) on my recently purchased 2010 350. The sound is not a constant grind typically caused by worn brake pads..... It is almost like a rock is stuck between my caliper and wheel, with the scraping sound prevalent every time it hits one of my OEM lobster claw wheel spokes.
The sound disappears when I engage the brake pedal, so it has to do with the brake system. Also, I've noticed that there is quite a bit of squeaky-like noise when I pump the brakes. None of my cars have ever produced such a sound and refuse to believe that excessive squeaking is the norm with a luxury vehicle such as lexus.
I would take it to the dealership, but my bank still hasn't received the car's title from the dealership I bought it from. So I have not registered the car in my name yet.
Any thoughts/experiences?

Yes get it checked out. Sounds like the brake TSIB. This noise doesn't sound normal and shouldn't be treated as "normal" on any car. Travis, I think your dealer is avoiding doing the work to your car.
The guy who leased the vehicle prior to me buying it had the front pads and rotors replaced due to excessive squealing at around 9,000 miles. So I assume Lexus won't replace them again?
