Default Tein HA Coilovers

Did anyone get the upper pillar mounts with their set? How is the ride quality with the pillar mounts as opposed to without. I was told it would be much stiffer, but I'm not convinced that is accurate. The reason I ask is becasue the rubber bushings tend to wear out as time passes and I would like to prevent that from happening. Thanks for any input.

That's my understanding also, the HA does not come with the upper mounts [pillow mounts?]. Since both rominl and I have the HA, either we are correct or we both got ripped off.

The pillow ball uppers for the HA are OPTIONAL. They do NOT normally come with them so don't worry guys, you didn't get ripped off!

They do come stock with the Tein FLEX however.

Will it stiffen the ride? YES. Will it be enough to bother you? That, I can't say...my butt-o-meter isn't calibrated the same as yours...

Optional?! That's what's great about CL, learn something new every day! Do these upper mounts provide for any camber adjustment?

I have the Tein CS kit and it does come with the pillow mounts....I'd have to agree with Manaray that having the pillow mounts does stiffen up the car a bit as the stock pillow mounts are rubber (soft) and the Tein pillow mounts are metal (hard). After having a TT Supra for 5 years, my butt-o-meter is set to very stiff, so the CS is soft in my opinion.

I am sorta confused here, is it really worth it to get pillow mounts for the HA's? I asked a few people and I get mixed responses. Some people say it is a must-have to complete the coilovers and others tell me that I don't need it at all.
