I got some squeaking noises too after installing my Battle Version RUCA's. I believe its coming from where the two bolts that holds the RUCAs are. It was making that same noise too when I would manually move it before getting the car off the jack. I don't mind it much though, just a thought for where squeaky noises might come from.

I think a couple lbs difference in weight is less important than $500 difference in price each. The IS arms look stronger too.
I noticed one of the bushings on the GS arms is a bit wider than the IS arm. Probably not enough to matter.
Even if the IS arms are twice the weight, or even 3 times. It's still not that much weight in an absolute sense. Not when your wheels weight 25-30 lbs.

Why would you trust the IS guys to know what they're doing? They know about stancing and posing but, when it comes to tech, they're in as bad a shape as the GS guys (kidding...a little).
I mean sure, I'd rather have an aluminum arm but, if it's a choice of spending $563 for a new aluminum arm or $210 for a new steel one. I think I'd rather have the steel one. It's not like these heavy beasts are handling machines anyway.
So, bottom line, I'm not saying they're better. I'm saying they're 1/3rd the cost and just as functional.
