Default lowering springs or coilovers

im looking for lowering springs or coilover ...

first of all i have dead struts so if i do get spring i will have to change my struts ...
i dont have rim yet but planning on 18s
also in the near future i will turbo the car .

its a daily driver so i do want some sort of a comfort ride ..
and i want to put a front lip ... probably the greddy or rmm lip
i want the car to be low but not so low i scrap on everything (i work at an airport and there is ALOT of speed bumps)

i am a college student who does make much and has alot of bill to pay so im on a budget

so the main question is what shud i get considering all that i told you ..
coilovers or springs

also what brand and type ..
and if springs wut struts

With all the cheap coilovers (ie. Megans, etc) on the market nowaday, its hard not to go with them over a set of spring/shock.

Considering that if you buy springs you're also gonna have to buy struts this is gonna run you about $500 or a little over and if you don't like the height or you hit on those speed bumps then you're pretty much screwed cuz you can't adjust it. I would just save a little more & get the coilovers... Can't go wrong with coilovers & the price difference is not that much. Your looking at $700-800 for some "megan ez" or "function & form". I personally recommend the function & form coilovers cuz that's what I have & the ride quality is amazing, no matter at what hieght you set them. Hope this helps.

Get coilovers and call it a day. Don't go buying springs and wish you would have saved a little more and got coils. If you're on a budget, the megan EZ Streets are probably the most inexpensive, decent coils. Check the group buys section and pick some up.

If you're on a tight budget then I'd recommend the Megan EZ coilovers, they are a good set for the money.

And we actually have a Group Buy going on right now, hit us up for some help

Depending on the price, I'd definitely be interested in purchasing some coil overs with you guys too! Let me know the details

Coilovers are the way to go now-a-days. They are cheap to find.

coiloveres vs springs ride quality?
bumps, potholes, are horribe here... plus in the mountains and hills roads go down and up and huge dips are a pain...

im on stock springs cut and its decent but dips are bad.. it bounces up bad, but just one bounce then the shocks work well

Coilovers will shame cut springs. Plus you can adjust dampening (on most). Do it.
