i also went with R1 Concept rotors because they were supposedly bought by Stoptech thus having the same rotors when you go with the premiums. I went with e-lines drilled and slotted instead with stock pads and they are great. I painted the hub area with brake caliper paint(makes it look better)
deff recommend R1 Concept rotors.

I got the stop-tech drilled rotors and akebono pads. I also did the good ridge, I think, Steel braided lines from TireRack.
I really like the look, there is a really slight shimmy when first applying the brakes. Its very slight though. I think it might have something to do with the rotors. It was fine before with the stock brakes. They were pretty cheap though...I think 78 a side. I would purchase them again. I just wish they made more pads the the ls400 calipers. I would like something with some more bite than the akebonos.

I chose to go local just for the return policy and so on if I had a problem. I went with Oreilys rotors and pads, both Werner. I like them a lot and have had zero issues with them. When I first got my rotors in, I sanded mine down and painted them with VHT clear coat and allow to dry overnight. This has completely stopped the rust so far. Been like this for about 4-5 months now. This is what I have found out to be the cheapest method to avoid the rust.
