What socket size are you guys using to push in the UK bushing? I heard some are using 34mm and others are using 36mm? Will either work? I don't have those sizes and will need to order it from Amazon.

Thanks.

I used a 1 1/4" socket, but I had to grind it down on the inside a bit with a dremel.

Komar when ordering from Rocar do you order two or does a full set of two come in 1 box?

I ordered these rear knuckle bushings from ebay. the store is called japeurocarparts. the item number is 181812644335. they came from new zealand i think but I got them superfast and they look and feel like o.e. quality. I've had them on for a week and noticed a large improvement. Plus they help get you camber back in spec. by taking up the slack you lost in the excessive play. I paid about 70 for both.

Just replaced this with the FIGS part using their suggested tool. Worked like a champ.

Default Updated ebay link

For anyone reading through the first couple pages and struggling to find the parts (I shouldve skipped to the last page ha ha), here is an updated ebay link to a seller called Japeurocarparts selling the bearing, he has two listings, one for the IS and one for the GS.

Here is the GS bearing:

Thanks for the update. Just purchased a 98 GS400, and have a few minor repairs to make. Forum is helping me out greatly.

First of all, Thanks for this thread! Couple of weeks ago I noticed same problems in my GS450h 2009. Sound is like brick bounces in the trunk when going over speed bumbs.
I'm not sure is it dead shock or bushing. I have lifted passenger side up and tried to shake wheel & arms, but not found any clear reason.
SO, is this carrier bushing problem only Gen2 GS problem or also Gen3 GS problem..?
If you know the correct bushing for GS450h 2009, please share the link/info. Thanks in advance!

you DIDNT read this or any other thread you keep going in and asking for the part #'s on specially not mine. if you read the thread you easily would find the info you need without asking for it, so yes it really is that hard to give the part # out. im not going to spoon feed you in this or the other 30 threads you have made recently to ask for part #'s when all you have to do is read the thread and answer the ? for yourself. especially since i gave you LINKS (not this thread) and THE post # the part #'s were in and then your next response is similar to this "so does anyone have a part # or not"

Tried to this install today. I rented a ball joint kit. Got the bushing out fairly easy but couldn't get the new one in! Cars going to sit apart for a few days because I have no time. First DYI fail I have had on this car!
