Put your preload back to where it was and/or raise it up a bit. That's it. Road condition varies.

He's compressing the spring so he actually raised the perch, not lower it. There are many reasons to play with preload.

Erick, you need to look under the fender and see if your UCA is leaving a mark. If it is, you'll most likely have to cut a hole in order to clear it. If your shocks are bottoming out, then increase preload.
