your brakes are probably worn. the reason why hear the beep is that the master cylinder has detect a low fluid level and warns you. check out your whole brake system. And when you brake, the pedals starts to sink down, master cylinder is gone.

Had the same problem after washing my car. It did the exact same thing for about half the day. Then I let it sit for the rest of the day and all through the night. Got up the next morning and it stopped doing it. Fluid level was fine. Pads were fairly new. I never could figure it out.

What yr is your car? This was apparent on the 98-00 2nd gens
It makes a constant buzzing sound (intermittant). And eventually, you will lose your power assist when braking (very scary)

get the ABS codes checked out. that's your best bet. a regular generic scanner is not capable of retreiving ABS codes.

it's your whole brake master cylinder assembly. the abs unit is part of the whole assembly, so you must change out the whole thing.

Wrong, the ABS can be removed by itself

dude.. if you got a 98-00 gs.. almost 99% sure its your abs actuator.. uber expensive and very common to fail. dont know if you need the whole master cylinder (highly doubt it) but ya if you get a "used" one .. its going to do it to you sooner than later.. just get a new one.. and dont be cheap lol.
