I recently changed my brakes and all was good. I now notice that while pulling up to a stop. That just before I come to a complete stop the brake pedal has the feel that the ABS has kicked in (brake pedal goes down a little more and makes the ABS sound) only for a half second then brakes work normally.

I've tried a search to see if anyone else has had this issue but have come up empty.

Normal? Unless I read the original post incorrectly... I dont see why the abs would be reacting to a normal stop

not trying to scare the OP, but many years ago when I worked at a smog shop, I was returning a car to the dealer that we smogged. Same thing happened to me and on the third time, the car didn't stop at all! I'm not at all saying thats what will happen or is whats happening, but that shouldn't be happening.

 

Make sure you tightened your sensors down all the way. I had one that was loose, just a TEENY bit and it sounded like the ABS was going to blow up. It would 'kick in' right when you hit 10mph while braking.
