Default Do we need zero point calibration after an alignment?

I brought my IS250 RWD automatic to a tire shop to perform an alignment and only the front left toe was off (0.07in), and is now at 0.01in after the alignment.

One of my friend told me that any car (Toyota) with VSC needs to perform a zero point calibration after an alignment. I do not have any code after the alignment, so I'm wondering if it is necessary or doable.

Thanks.
