Suspension guru's, please chime in!
Okay so I recently got a set of 19s and I'm lowered on H&R sports.
I have a question about my ride height.
The previous owner who had these springs seemed like his car was dropped quite a bit more than mine. Just judging from these pictures. My question is if there is anything that could be hindering my car from having a lower ride height after the install. Do I need to reset my bushings? or perhaps the bushings that the springs are seated on aren't aligned properly?
I was under the impression that H&R's offered the lowest ride height out of all the springs.
Comparing my car with Javy's (hope you don't mind I borrowed your pics) when he had H&R's
and the previous owner of my springs my car seems higher.
Any input is much appreciated

Pictures are HUGE!!.
anyways, make sure you had the same tire set up. sometimes bigger tires fill up the fenderwell and it makes the car look lower.
another thing is that maybe he had an IS350 which is a little heavier, making the car lower.
or he preloaded the springs, sometimes that can make them drop a 1/4 inch or so
or he had a really heavy subwoofer on the rear.
it can also be that the pics you posted are photoshoped to make the cars look lower.

check your tire set up compared to the guys on the pics. I changed from a 30 profile to a 35 profile tire and with 35 profile tire the fender gets filled up more and looks way lower

Springs don't settle. Bushings finally give up their resistance when the guy doing the suspension install doesn't know how to set up them up for neutral after the drop.
Springs don't settle.
Camber less than -2.5 degrees does not wear out your tires.

Yeah javy does have bigger tires in those pics, but I'm going off the distance between the edge of the wheel and the fender. My gap in the rear seems larger.
I also reset my bushings the other day but it didn't seem to help with the ride height. I'll probably take apart the rear assembly and make sure the bushing between the shock tower and spring is positioned properly.
