I removed all of mine also. I'm in Florida and it's been raining like crazy. So far I haven't had any problems. I just watch where I drive and watch the cars in front to see if a large puddle is coming up.
K. Now how about Seattle.......I've been wanting to go lower but the rains comin any time now until about april/may of 2011 as usual. I may just raise/lower it every winter/summer and put the liners in and out. That or take them out and try to find a way to shield the important stuff from as much of the water as Im able to

I'm with the retard. The only thing I would consider besides the Bilstein setup is something with Koni, Ohlins or Penske, but those would be so expensive it wouldn't be worth trading for.
How I wish I could ride as low as some of you guys over here where I live. Am I capable of going lower? Yes, about 1 - 1.5 inches lower. Should I? That's a definite no.
