Default Another Brake Caliper Set painted

New IQ pads and hardware. OEM shims used and hardware adjusted to prevent squeel. Caliper face was sanded down for a cleaner/smoother look. Used 1200F high temp gloss black along with 1200F high temp clear coat.
Went with black to enhance the appearance of the car. Pics do not do it justice but the size is limited here. Note the polished hardware.

Thumbs up

That really look awesome! This may be my next mod but I will probably go with red. Where did you get the Lexus stickers?

Hey PearlPower,

So you went with the spray kind? Where did you end up getting it? Thanks.

Pearl, that looks sooooo sweet. That is what I am planning on doing as well. It would help if you could post a picture of the products you used to accomplish this.

Thanks

I think I like the black myself. I have mine painted with red. In the beginning, it really looked great but grew old on me quite fast. For some reason, the red "cheapened" the entire car - mine is a black GS - and much more so when the car has been unwashed for a few days. Reminds me of Civics buzzing about in my area. The red will probably look good on white GS, I don't know.
