Bumping this old thread because the OP has a question that am currently asking myself....Tein S-tech or H&R???
I am looking to get rid of the horrible fender gap without compromising ride quality too much as my wife still drives this car sometimes...I know everyone will reply with "get adjustable coils and not springs", but that is just not the right choice for the current use of the car...
I am just looking for some more current feedback from owners of both Tein S-tech and H&R...do you still like them? has the ride quality deteriated over time? any serious issues with different ride heights left to right/front to back? advise on cutting or not cutting the bump stops?
Thanks everyone

I know the H&R drop 2" front and back, and the Tein drop 1.6" in the front and 1.2" in the rear, I think the Eibachs do not drop enough to cancel the gap...I have also seen Road Magnet springs drop over 2", which may even be too low for my wife!
Some owners have posted here that with the Tein springs, there is still too much gap in the front, and that is the gap I am trying to get rid of...

I will be installing them next week when they come in, and I will post some before and after pics (DIY has already been done, and the TIS instructions are on Sewell's website)
Can't wait to kill the gap!!!

Sounds like from most of what you guys write that the H&R's are one the better springs for our cars.
Anyone here have them on an awd equipped car? How is the RIDE??
Thanx for any advice all!

Just finished installing my TEIN S-Tech springs and took some quick pictures with my iphone...will have time soon to wash and shoot with an actual camera soon, but I am too excited not to share
The installation when smoothly, took about 2 hours total...it really helps to work at a dealership with all the lifts, tools, machines, and techs there to help
Test drive home was exactly what I hoped...slightly more aggresive feel from the handling, like the car felt a little bit tighter and snugg around corners...and I was impressed the installation done right the first time, with not a single noise, rattle, click, squeak, warning light, or anything!
More time driving the car, letting the springs settle a bit and performing another alignment, maybe tracking it somewhere, and I will give a more extensive review...but for now
