Default Custom BCR Spring Rates

I've currently got a set of megan coilovers that my wife finds too firm for the IS. I'm currently looking at replacing them with a set of BCR coils with custom spring rates of 8k in front and 6k in rear. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of setup? I personally don't mind a ride that's firmer than stock, and I'm also trying to avoid bottoming out when I have 4 passengers in the car...

Thanks for your input!

With the current set of Megan coils, have you already tried to adjust the damper to full soft on all four sides before considering to go for custom spring rates? From my experience, if you tune your coilovers to full soft, it should be a very comfy ride and feels quite similar to stock (very compliant).

I've tried adjusting the preload on the springs as well as the shocks, but it still seems pretty stiff. I've had coilovers on other cars before but this has been by far the stiffest of all setups i've had before. I think it might be due to the pillowball mounts...
