what's your budget?

aside from looking for a set of coilovers that "rides good", what other functions are you looking for or consider "must have"?

have you tried looking through the CL vendors section?

have you gotten any price quotes from CL vendors or online resellers?

Megan LP coilover is the cheapest coilover with a decent quality
then BC offer a better strut body with a price around $900
Tanabe Sustec 5 coilover is little bit under 1k!!

i dont really have a limit, i just want best bang for the buck....my cousin and i can install them no problem, im not very mechanical myself but he is.....so i guess just some decent coils that i can install once and leave it at that...

im expecting 1k, but any less would be great anymore i would really have to consider...

How about this.....if you were looking for coils and with what you know and with 1k or so.....what would you buy?

considering the magic price point for you is $1k (excluding labor, 4-wheel alignment), your selection is limited to an offering more on the "entry-level" class.

megan racing, buddy club, BC racing, tein, tanabe are a few of the brands that have sub-$1k offerings.

here's a few suggestions to move you along:

1. search is your best friend. in this case, use it in the 2is suspension section.
2. PM CL vendors for price quotes.

you need to figure out if coilovers are what you need and want (since you can obviously afford them). if you're going to just set the ride height and dampening ONCE and never touch it again, imo that's just not enough justification to drop any amount on coilovers, let alone $1k.

what coilovers offering i would buy w/ $1k would depend on what i am looking to get out of them. as i tinker with them often enough (ride height, preload, dampening), the price tag was justified for me. then again, i didn't spend anywhere near $1k for my set...

Megans are good if you're on a tight budget, for for a little bit more you can upgrade to a set of BCR's with a few more features and a little bit better ride/damping qaulity. They still come in under $1000.

Feel free to PM us with any questions or for pricing

(might as well throw in the TEAS as well)

but what's odd is that they don't have either application for the 2is, but they do for the GS350. maybe it'll fit?

BC racing coilovers FTW! Tristan at CircuitMS will take good care of you.
Keep us posted and let us know how you like the ride with the BCR coilovers after install.
