List of wheels that fit TT and LS400 BBK
#17
I know I'm reviving an oooooooold thread. But I am searching through threads to see if IS300 wheels clear LS400 BBK. I guess I'll just do the dirty work and swap to see.
And I also want to contribute that S14 wheels clear the LS BBK.

Klaus, if you have some spare time while test fitting the IS wheels could you measure the distance from rotor surface to the back of the wheel spokes to give me a rough idea of fitment, in millimeters, if possible?
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Attached is an image of my current set-up.
LS brakes behind Classics. I have about a mm before the wheel touches the caliper closest towards the hub. I'm thinking I may get lucky and the TT caliper will sit further away from the hub, closer towards the area behind the spokes that allow for more clearance. Only reason I may go TT, is I already have a matching pair installed in the rear. I would like to mount them with out the 5mm spacer most have been using, the wheel and tire package is quite aggressive as it is already.
Don't worry those are not dings, dents or cracks in the wheels, just cotton fibers from the wash mitt.
Thanks, I appreciate it.

Ah well hate to tell you on classics, but when you order classics for a turbo supra they provide a 5mm spacer. The inside edge of the caliper hits. You can also grind down the inside caliper edge just slightly until it clears. A lot of the supra road race guys do this to avoid running spacers. Don't worry, there's PLENTY of meat on those calipers, you won't damage anything. My buddy has been running shaved calipers for probably a solid 2000 road race miles with zero issues.
Also the IS350 wheels have the same issue- they clip the inside edge of the caliper.

Stock 94-96 Dodge Stealth wheels fit the LS400 brakes and I'm sure the TT brakes for anybody who needs a cheap wheel set up/spares/drift wheels
Anybody fit 18" BBS LM with the LS400 brakes before?
