Strut bar looks cool and your engine bay..don't know about performance gains..not a fan of your hood but i do like the way you used the lines of the car to create a two-tone effect..i think if you got your chrome bezel colormatched MRM and lost the chrome on the headlights it would flow better..just my 2 pennies..

But I have an interesting question doesn't that put alot of pressure on the latches, when the car is accelerating the engine will move so then the hood will move with it. Not good

good point now to answer your question. I would of thought so to but the hole that the latch is in isnt the same size as the stud so there is a little play for the latch but also I have drove the car for at least 1000 miles and I havent seen any rubbing on the strut or the hood. I will keep a close eye on both.

Here is my contribution on the GT Spec Strut Brace. If it works? I really dont feel it. Maybe when I finish installing all braces around the car and below I will feel the difference but for now it looks great and I had the $130.00 to spend.
Here it is:

Can you get a closeup of the side covers? I like to se how much you cut them.

There you go. I still have to apply some heat to the cuts so they look cleaner and more factry like.
But here is: I took about a few inches of each side total. Made one cut first and then took small amounts until I ended with this fir. Which I think is Ok. Now just need to make it real good with some heat.
Thanks

Easy bolt on. Then you need to trim a bit of the engine covers.
