hey guys, i have since bought a TT suspension since the thread started. zkills, how about you take a picture of your rear set up and post it here? zach you could too if you guys have time.
come on no more arguing. we're all playing on the same team here.
I used to have a set of OEM Supra springs and OEM SC shocks. I have since sold them, but I tried to fit the Supra springs on the SC shocks and only the fronts would fit on the perch.
The Supra spring does not fit onto the SC shock as it does not seat properly on the perch. Rear SC springs have the same diameter from top to bottom. Rear Supra springs taper off at the bottom.
haha I had no idea people getting so up tight about this,
I can't remember if this was the front or the back, took it will I was getting my alignment done, sorry for the awesome quality.
Oh and to prove they are supra springs:
I dout this guy is going to get a supra springs box and put sc springs in them or anything like that. My car was owned by one guy and from all the records I there was never any replacements to the shocks. I'm not telling anyone to go get these cause it will work or whatever. I got them, they worked for me.
Edit: Please tell me if there is anything wrong here, cause I wouldn't know.
If that is indeed a rear Supra spring on an SC rear shock it does not look like the spring is even on the perch. From the pic, it looks like it is sitting on an area above the perch. Drive with caution man. Curious, but does it make any sort of clunks or noises in the rear when you drive? Did you install them yourself?

I haven't noticed any noises, I'll listen closer next time I drive but as of right now no. I didn't do it, a friend of mine that has done this many times before did, but he has never done it on an SC or Supra (honda guy).
those are supra springs, but like TheMole said, that spring isnt even on the perch where it should be..the fronts seem to be ok, but still hard to tell if its seated properly.
Maybe because the springs are different lengths there isnt any play so there would be no clunking?
Spring length variations can only vary by so much. I'm thinking that the spring is trying to uncompress to seat itself correctly, causing it to not clunk on the shock tube itself by forcing itself outwards.
