Default Are The Tenabe Lowering Springs Too Low?

I have a 2000 gs400 and am about to get the Tenabe Precido's put on my car. They lower the car 2 inches all around. Has anyone done this yet or used these springs with the OE 17 inch rims? I am wondering if it will be too low and if the car will bounce or hop. Also, if anything will rub?? Rumor has it that my oe shocks will be worn out in 6 months due to the lowering springs. Is this true???

2" drop isn't too bad and I don't think you need to worry about rubbing since you have OEM 17" rims.

Its not the drop that you should worry.. Its the allignment.. I could not find a place to alignment my Tein Correctly.. they end up bring the back up about 0.4 inches before align the best they can..

If you have a body kit then yes, these are a VERY bad idea...but if you are not going for a kit then go for it....

I thought H&R's were the lowest drop you can get without going over to coilovers? How is the quality of Tenabe?

With Tanabe 2" drop you can never get a good allignment. You'll have the negative cambers that eat up the inide of tires all the time. I used to run -2.5 camber for the agressive looking and better cornering, but I had to replace my tires every 8000 miles

If you can find a camber kits for GS then go for it
