dbk_yu - that is a big difference in quality. at the point of dropping when you are almost not even able to drive unless the earth was flat doesn't make any sense ans I almost don't believe which coilover you go with. I am not trying to push any specific brand, but more like saying "I want to drive low" isn't the only thing you should be worried about.

once u go low, you gotta address the issue of the uppercontrolarm hittin the strut towers.
gotta cut a hole for the UCA to clear. research about it

indeed. i;ve maxed out the fronts on my Insurance Group coilovers with upgraded 12k springs with around 10-15mm of preload and im tucking just the top tread of my tyres id say (235/35 19s) and i hit UCA probably once or twice a trip as there are a couple of corner i just cant avoid it on.
So even if i could go lower i probably wouldnt cause id just be smashing UCA all the time!

i've had the TEIN with the EDFC, i maxed them out... wanted to go lower... so i sold them got a set of JICs... now i'm riding on rim in the rear and the front tucks almost the complete tire.... but i'm about to sell my JICs, to have a custom set of JICs made...

be sure to spend another $450 on rca's if you really want to ride low. otherwise the car will have almost no suspension travel and the car will dive into every pothole out there.
oh and most aftermarket control arms won't address this issue unless you get both upper and lower control arms. so rca is still your best bet.
