Default HELP!? Suspension sits too high...need help troubleshooting

I just got off the phone with my shop and they told me "there is a problem"...

They were to install koni yellow/swift spring combo, but something seemed inconsistent.

Apparently the back looked lowered correctly, but the front still had about 4 fingers of wheel gap. Is there something that went wrong, or will the car settle that much over time?

Any input would be great!

Not to be of no use, but your "shop" really should have done the "shop" thing and found out. I mean, that's what it's there for right?

Hows the left in comparison to the right? Are they both sitting at about 4 fingers?

Well the difficult part in this is that I bought the parts used and brought them to the shop to install. They are puzzled as well with this issue. The gap is consistent on both sides of the car. The front is about 4 fingers of gap and the rear tire is tucked by about 1" I would think.

After trying to troubleshoot the problem yesterday, this is what we have concluded so far:

-Front springs are on the front, rears are on the rear (so they were not switched)
-The front springs are definitly thicker than the rears (more evidence of their correct placement)
-The Koni's are on the bottom perch for both the front and rear

My initial thought was that maybe the springs were mislabeled, but the different thickness of the springs shows otherwise. This is Sly Guy Yu's old suspension and it seemed to fit fine on his car, and I know of other people with proper fitment with Swift springs (Blizzy being one).

Please let me know if anyone has any input!

Here is a picture of the car how it stands now:

That is what I will be looking into next. I wouldn't think so since they were on a member's car prior to mine, but who knows

Were the shocks/springs assembled w/ the hardware when you got them?

Generally, the taller springs should be in the rear. I used to have swifts/bilsteins and the rear looks about right in the provided pic. Hm maybe check if the spring perches are in the correct position. Also make sure the endlinks and arms are in the correct position. Pics of the front springs/shocks if possible.

Hmmm, that is definitely odd, why don't you check w/ the member that sold it to you to see if he had the same problem? Nice car btw, at least you don't have to worry about clearing driveways and stuff, haha.

I should be able to get pics early this week. The car is still at the shop 20-30min away so I want to get the car on my jack and see what I can find.

The member I got them from never had them mounted, and the owner before that never seemed to have a problem. I even asked him about this and he didn't have much info. I need to make sure that the springs are the correct part number as well.

wow, it makes the car look like its trying to take off. I would definitely have them switch the springs around, i think that might solve your problem.

How can you mistake the front and rear springs? You will need some serious butchery to get it to work in reverse.

I'd be very scared of that shop.
