Default Experience with TRD GS400 brake upgrade?

Greetings,
Has anyone upgraded from the stock GS400/GS430 to the TRD brake kit for the vehicle? If so, feedback / comments appreciated. I have a friend with a GS400 w/16" rims, and he has experienced bad, repeated rotor warping from commuting in traffic. The brake upgrade is one very tempting solution to this problem.

i have the TRD brake upgrade with 16" wheels

the brakes feel much more responsive and grippy than the old ones which felt fadded and like ur trying to grip slush... this ones you know when ur pads are touchign the rotors they seem to bite harder - i think this is the pad

about the rotor warping... i would thing that stock and TRD are simaler except for the grooves because they looked the same but they could be different material.

good luck

I see I wasn't sufficiently clear. I'm interested in experiences in the TRD brake upgrade package which includes calipers, rotors, pads, lines -- the whole enchalada. I did do a search, and found this relevant thread which described the package, but not anyone's experience using it.

For the price of full TRD Brake Upgrade.. you are better off buying the supraTT Caliper and TRD Brake Pad.. and NC Cross Drill Rotor from SupraTRD.

I checked with Steve and for a full TRD brake upgrade, it would only run you about $550.00 +/-, but for supra TT upgrade I think it would be a lot more. Also with the supra TT caliper, you need to make sure that your rims clear the calipers.

itsallgood.. you are missing the point.. the TRD upgrade.. I have that..runs about 499. 4 rotors.. front and back brake pad..

No Calipers..

Now real Trd upgrad with 4 piston caliper would cost close to 2g.
