is this normal on an AWD?
that is what tommy said...being an AWD...if it's too low, it will give too much pussure to the front axle..and that inner boot can't hold it while it always pushing up....that's why it leaks....
please correct me if im wrong, because i just heard from somebody.

i got 6k miles on my AWD since i dropped it and my boots are good even with all the jacked up roads we have out here in Mass.
I think the installer needs to make sure not to have the axles hang loose when installing the coilovers.
When you install them and remove the axles the dead weight hanging off the end of the axle can pull the boot and stress the retainer clip.
Make sure to keep this in mind and tell the installer.

went to the dealer, the only one in Las Vegas, and they are blaming the altered suspension as to the reason for the leaking. They inspected the clips and the boots and said they were fine, except for the fact that the position of the axle is putting too much pressure on the inner boot.
My leaks aren't as bad as the OP, but I think after a month or so it will get worse. I'm thinking about taking it to an independent lexus dealer for a second opinion.

Perhaps because your car is still pretty new? The OP and mine are 2006. Don't these boots typically wear out around 50-70K on factory suspensions?
