the stock is-f brembos.... why are the rears so small if they are 4 pot? herd the rotors arent 2 piece? and they are smaller then the regular brembo 6pot?

The rear is so small because, it gives the brake system proper break bias.

Basically, it lets the front brakes do all the heavy work...

Small as compared to what? The OEM IS-F rear calipers are not small, although they are 2-piston, not 4-piston calipers... No the rotors aren't 2 piece (on the IS-F) - they're a one piece cross drilled cast iron design. The IS-F front calipers are roughly the same size as the Brembo GT ("regular Brembo 6pot" as you refer to them).

oh ok... so it is a 2pot rear i dont know why people keep telling me its a 4pot...
can i change the rotors to a 2 piece?

no mr. phil i'm just thinking ahead and looking at my options...
like... if i want phil style lips but not run aggressive then is-f brembos be a good idea...
or if i was to part out, how fast and how much would i have to sell my brembos, in order to sell them? not everyone is willing to pay XXXX(used or new) even if they are brembos... also i'm not a loser like you that can get 6 & 6 hahah

oh... and they are going to be yellow...

i gotta figure out what i want to do... its a week in already, i dont want to tell them to late(wheels)

This is just a shot in the dark, but doesn't the ISF rear need to be 1 piece in order to support the E-brake?

Yeah, but it's gonna cost you about $1500 just for discs...

I may be missing something, but 6 & 6 what? Phil has the Brembo GT kit for the IS350 - 6 pot front, 4 pot rear...

No. The shape of the mounting bell on the Brembo 2-piece discs maintains the e-brake functionality on both the IS350 and IS-F.
