Haha great minds think alike! I got a quote for the ceramic coating by Phil from Spoolin. 200 bucks. As for the calipers i think i am going to polish mine. Those polished LS400 brakes look very classy, i like it.

i don't think you can chrome aluminum ... i think they have to nickel plate it first.
the IS calipers are not straight bolt on, i am getting brackets made and hopefully they'll be done within this coming up week.
to polish your LS calipers you are going to need a lot of free time ...
start with a rough grit sandpaper like a 60 or 80 grit and sand away ...
once you get it smooth switch to a finer grit like a 150 or 200 grit and sand away ...
once you're done with that you now switch over to an ever finer grit like a 600 grit ...
then you switch over to an even finer grit like a 1500 grit
and then you finish off with a polishing wheel and polishing compound ... the one that attaches to your drill works very well but i have a stationary wheel and its a lot easier to control
once i get my IS calipers on i will post a write up

ZSC3: the LS i did by hand since theres a lot of small spaces where power tools can't really get in to, but the IS i did with a hand sander and by hand ...
this is the only pic i have of the LS behind 18" Sterns
