The specs for the G-Spiders are the same as for the standard 18" wheels, but you need to print out the template and measure because there's not a lot of clearance. There's a warning in the installation instructions for the F-Sport kit that warns about the placement of wheel balancing weights on the inside the wheel. In essence you can't place any wheel weight in the center of the barrel because it's too close to the caliper. The reason I mention this is to stress that you REALLY need to measure for yourself. I've attached the PDF from StopTech to this post - print out the template, paste it to cardboard, trim it, and follow the instructions to properly measure your wheel for the necessary clearance.

so i tried to put my stock 18" wheels on my stoptech 6pot BBK this weekend and it was a no go. the diameter of the rim was not large enough, it barely touches, but touches.

Are you sure? I swear, I saw a car running stoptech, with the OEM wheels on.

As did Javy and Joe-z, witness this.

Sucks

^^hey t0e

how often do you change your rotors and/or brake pads?
with stock, i changed them around 15-20k miles. im at 40k right now and need to change them soon. if BBKs last a lot longer, than im definitely gonna invest in them.

Well.

I have not replaced my rotors yet.
But they are much cheaper price than stock replacement.

I will measure their thickness and let you know.
Front min thickness is around 30mm.

I have had them on for about 25K miles and I still have a lot of pad left.

Keep In mind, i also take this car to the race track, so there is more wear and tear on them.

wow...seems BBKs last a long time.
i dont track or anything. no mountain runs. my friend and i do some noob drifting, peel outs, donuts in a parking lot like once every 6 months. HAHAHAH

plus, i brake late. that might be the reason why my pads and rotors wear down quicker. but definitiely thinking of getting BBKs, if not, then at least the front BBKs.

thanks t0e

Cheaper? OEM is $159.58 and $138.00 at MSRP (Internet discount @ $253 for the pair). You sure the Stoptech rotors are cheaper?

FWIW, the OEM rotors start at 30mm and minimum thickness is 27mm.
