Default Brake pad and rotor replacement question

Hey guys, I had a quick question, I saw that the link inside the master thread with the DIY stuff goes to the replacement instructions for an LS. Would this be the same for the GS? And another question, I see that O'Reilly is selling the BREMBO front disc rotors for $64 for a set and BREMBO rear disc rotors for $56 for a set. Are these good? And for the brake pads, should I go with ceramics or semi-metallic, I know ceramics are supposed to last longer and don't make squeaky noises, but are there any downsides? And does the brand make much of a difference?

I dont know if it makes any perf. difference but it will look real nice. I got brembo rotors with stock ceramics.

For the Brembo blanks $64 and $56 are pretty good prices. The advantage with going ceramic is that they squeak less and have less brake dust. Definitely go with ceramic. The brake job for the LS should be the same for the GS. It's pretty straight foward and shouldn't take too long. Make sure to grease the slider pins and you could even use an anti-squeal spray on the outside of the pads. GOOD LUCK!

notice any difference in braking power? Thinking of upgrading, maybe not to blanks, probably slotted or something of that sort

The LS rear brake pads are different than a GS, but not that difficult to replace. I highly recommend spending a little more on pads and get a "low dust" pad like Akebono ProAct. I clean my wheels every weekend and there is very little dust. Cheap pads (like basic pads from O'reilly) will emit a ton of dust!!!
